Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
This 8-week program was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness, UMass Medical School in 1979. This program is for you if you want to:
- Develop the ability to navigate change and life’s challenges with more ease and clarity.
- Learn practices to effectively cope with stress or chronic pain.
- Improve your focus, agility, and resilience.
- Enhance your communication and interpersonal skills.
- Live life with inner calm, clarity, and renewed sense of energy.

Learn with a certified MBSR Teacher in a group, one-on-one, or online.

Mindfulness 2.0 is an 8-week program combining ancient texts with the neuroscience of change to bring deeper transformation. The three trainings in this program go beyond meditation and awareness to cultivating eight mindfulness skills essential to bring sustainable change. This program is for you if you would like to:
- Deepen your mindfulness practice after taking the MBSR class.
- Better integrate mindfulness into everyday life.
- Develop all aspects of the brain involved with changing habits.
- Close the gap between your intentions and actions.
- Cultivate more energy and enthusiasm in life.

Free Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness is training for the mind to experience life with more compassion, clarity, and presence. It gives you the power to choose your thoughts and actions rather than living reactively based on your past conditioning. Try a free intro class if you would like to:
- Learn more about the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program – the background, science, and how it works.
- Get an experience of the approaches used in MBSR.
- Experience how your mind works on default.
- Meet the teacher and ask questions you may have about mindfulness or this program.

Refresher Classes
Refresher classes will go over basic mindfulness skills and practices. This class is for you if you would like to:
- Re-energize your personal mindfulness practice.
- Refresh your understanding and practice of mindfulness.
- Practice mindfulness with a group.
- Clarify challenges in your mindfulness practice and integration in life.
- Try a mindfulness class when you can’t commit to an 8-week program.
Mindful Communication Workshop
Communication is an important skill we use all the time. In this workshop you will practice deep listening, mindful speaking, and navigating difficult conversations. This workshop is for you if you would like to:
- Gain awareness of your communication style.
- Be more assertive in your communication.
- Develop better listening skills.
- Learn how to stay open in difficult conversations.
- Cultivate deeper and more meaningful relationships.
- Cultivate mindfulness skills – awareness, compassion, curiosity, and non-reactivity – essential for honest and effective communication.

Mindfulness Mentoring
While learning in groups offers many benefits, some people learn better one-on-one. This is another way to deepen and continue your practice with me. With this offering I can customize the training to address your individual needs and goals. This can be for you alone or a small group of people that you would like to practice with, such as your friends, team members, or like-minded individuals. This option is good for you if:
- You need more flexibility than a group offers.
- You need flexible hours and place to meet.
- You are not in Western Mass and want to work with me.
- You would like to continue to practice with me to deepen your practice and integration of mindfulness in life and work.
- You would like on-going support to live mindfully.
Mindfulness Retreats
Retreats are offered over weekends from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm in a quiet, peaceful setting. A few benefits of the silence retreats are that you can:
- Deepen your personal mindfulness practice.
- Unplug and give rest to the mind and body.
- Refresh and re-energize from a day of meditations and mindful walking.
- Deepen your relationship when practicing with a partner.
- Connect with yourself and nature.
